Feminism & Co.: Art, Sex, Politics was a public program that explored issues of women and gender through forms of pedagogy that brought together the primary sites of feminism: the university, the non-profit sector, and the art world. As opposed to a lecture series, symposium, or other academic style of research sharing, Feminism & Co. aimed to create access to critical debates surrounding feminist issues through the lens of creative practice, from performance and readings to hands-on making. For video footage click here. I co-directed Feminism & Co.— which took place at The Lab at Belmar and subsequently the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver from 2007 to 2017— with Gillian Silverman, Professor of English at the University of Colorado.
